First day

Arrival in Parma Low Lands and visit of the Giuseppe Verdi birthplace, with its multimedia itinerary. Transfer to Busseto and ‘Visita Incanto’: a special visit of the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi, the hidden music gem of Busseto, guided by an actress or singer who plays Giuseppina Strepponi: not only wife of the Maestro, but also his friend, confidant and inspiring muse. In order to guide visitors through the halls and passage ways of the this tiny yet splendid Opera House with a secret looking glass of Verdi’s epic life in a lively experience.
Tasting/lunch in typical restaurant of Parma Low Lands (on request visit of the Culatello and ‘Masalen’ Museum’).
Afternoon, special visit of Scipione dei Marchesi Pallavicino Castle. The Count René von Holstein, son of the Marquess Maria Luisa Pallavicino, will personally accompany his guests on a special tour through the history of the millenary Castle founded in the year 1000 by his ancestor Adalberto, bold leader who also founded the Marca Pallavicina with Busseto as the capital city. Through the mighty walls that narrate chivalrous epics, it will be possible to retrace the courageous men’s and women’s lives over the centuries up to the present day. It will be possible to discover some dailylife objects and documents hosted in rooms that can not be normally visited, as well as the private garden. At the end of the visit a welcome drink will be offered.
Overnight at Historic Residence or hotel.

Second day

Breakfast and transfer to the small and charming village of Fontanellato and visit of the Rocca Sanvitale, an enchanting castle surrounded by a splendid moat, with extraordinary beauties (on request visit of the exceptional Labirinto della Masone). Lunch at leisure. Afternoon visit of Reggia di Colorno and its Historic Garden.

- Visit of the Labirinto della Masone, the largest existing maze entirely composed of bamboo canes with the art collection of Franco Maria Ricci, publisher of Italian art.
