Parma lowlands, with the villages of Roncole Verdi, Sant’Agata and Busseto where Giuseppe Verdi was born and began to cultivate his musical vocation, then win fame and success. It’s your chance to experience the emotion of an exclusive opera concert and also to discover the deliciousness of Culatello di Zibello. Piacenza, with its treasures, memories of a past rich in history: the Cathedral, the Gothic Palace, the Farnese Palace, the magnificent aristocratic palaces, numerous churches and its Municipal Theater, a splendid example of late eighteenth-century architecture, where the “I due Foscari” opera representation will take place.

From Busseto to Piacenza, a route in the name of Verdi, from the places of his life with a memorable concert, to the city that hosted medieval fights and refined collectors with the opera I Due Foscari.

First day

Visit to the Verdi Lands: the suggestive Giuseppe Verdi’s Birthplace and St. Michael Church in Roncole Verdi; the Teatro Verdi in Busseto with the possibility during the day to visit the G. Verdi National Museum and the Museum dedicated to Renata Tebaldi, and Villa Verdi in Sant’Agata. Free time for lunch. Visit to Barezzi Museum with an exclusive opera concert with Verdi music. Dinner with typical menu in Busseto with visit to a Culatello di Zibello cellar. Overnight stay in hotel in Busseto.

Second day

Breakfast in hotel and departure to Piacenza. Visit of Piacenza city centre including churches, noble palaces and museums. Free time for lunch. Staging of the opera I due Foscari, music by Giuseppe Verdi at Teatro Municipale di Piacenza. Overnight stay in hotel in Busseto.
