Arrival in Roncole Verdi and visit the new multimedia museum at Giuseppe Verdi’s birthplace.
Transfer and visit to Villa Verdi in Sant'Agata. The villa, inhabited today by the descendants of Verdi and surrounded by a beautiful garden, was the permanent residence of Verdi and Giuseppina from 1851 on combining music and agriculture, alternating with their long stays in Paris and the winters passed in Genoa.
Transfer to Busseto for a tasting-lunch in a typical restaurant in the center.
Afternoon, visits to the places that witnessed the life of Giuseppe Verdi as Piazza Verdi with Verdi’s Monument, inaugurated in 1913, the centenary of the birth of the Great Maestro. Then Verdi’s Theater, built in honor of Verdi, splendid and magnificent, was inaugurated in August 1868 with the performances of Rigoletto and Un Ballo in Maschera and hosted the representation of almost all Maestro’s Operas.
Visit to Casa Barezzi Museum where was held the first exhibition of the Maestro.
Visit the Renata Tebaldi Museum. At the Museum you can admire the rich life’s testimonies of a "Diva", loved and fought over by the greatest theaters in the world. Costumes and scene jewelery designed by Giorgio De Chirico, Alexander Benois, Nicola Benois, Beni Montresor, travel trunks, rare documents, letters and testimonies, including those of JF Kennedy, Arturo Toscanini, Rudolph Giuliani that trace the career of Renata Tebaldi, extraordinary interpreter of the heroines of Verdi and Puccini.
Visit to Giuseppe Verdi National Museum in Busseto. Villa Pallavicino is a building of Renaissance art that is located outside the ancient walls of Busseto. From 10th October 2009, it’is the location of the National Museum Giuseppe Verdi. The 27 operas of the Great Composer are represented in an historical journey with the reproduction of the original sets of Casa Ricordi and paintings of the time, XVIII century valuable fabrics, the immortal music.
