The Art Collection

Eclectic and curious, the art collection fully reflects Franco Maria Ricci’s taste. It includes 18th-century sculptures, Neoclassical ones,
Napoleonic busts and still lifes with skulls; it also includes the great sculpture of the 17th century, 19th century Romantic and popular painting, and works by great artists, who share the collection with other works by minor and popular artists.

The Library

The library includes 1,200 volumes printed by Giambattista Bodoni, many of which beautifully bound in Moroccan leather, and featuring the coat of arms of the Dukes of Parma, Albert of Saxony, Eugène de Beauharnais and Marie Louise; it also contains the complete works of Alberto Tallone and of Franco Maria Ricci, and more than 15,000 volumes on art history.

Temporary Exhibitions

In addition to the permanent collection, the Labyrinth has other rooms that are used for temporary exhibitions, dedicated to surprising and less-known artists, masters of sculpture or painting both old and modern, as well as design objects and photography.
