Arturo Toscanini Foundation and the Toscanini Festival

The Arturo Toscanini Foundation, named after the legendary conductor who elevated Parma to the forefront of the global music scene, is a cultural institution of international importance. Its high-caliber concert season spans classical and contemporary repertoires. The Festival Toscanini, a magnet for international audiences, provides a rare opportunity to explore the works of the great composers that Toscanini interpreted with unparalleled passion and artistry.

Next year will be particularly momentous as the Foundation celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Filarmonica Toscanini. On May 10, 2025, a special event will commemorate the first performance of the Emilia-Romagna Symphony Orchestra, the precursor to today’s Filarmonica Toscanini.

The Foundation also organizes an annual New Year’s Concert, a must-attend event. The 2025 edition will feature Ode to Joy, an unforgettable performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, sure to captivate audiences.
