Busseto and Cremona linked by the love for great music. The new project called “The journey into music and melodrama - Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Verdi meet between Cremona and Busseto" involves Verdi's Birthplace, the Verdi Theatre, the Museum Casa Barezzi, the Museum Renata Tebaldi and the Museum of the Violin. The tour includes the visit to these extraordinary places with an all-inclusive ticket, also available for schools.
In the air of Busseto you can breathe the notes of the famous composer Giuseppe Verdi, the most well-known representative of Italian opera, who was born in Roncole Verdi, a hamlet close to Busseto. In Cremona, you can perceive the equally strong presence of the great luthier Antonio Stradivari. The two Masters have contributed to make these places known all over the world for their unique music, and also for their good food and natural heritage.
The itinerary "The journey into music and melodrama" has been created thanks to the collaboration between the public administrations of Busseto and Cremona, Parma Incoming, the Association Verdi's Friends, the Museum Renata Tebaldi and the Museum of Violin in Cremona. Parma Incoming offers the possibility to purchase the all-inclusive tickets to enjoy this extraordinary experience that will have its highlight in music, but will also explore the history and traditions of these very interesting territories.
