The itinerary starts from visiting the places of birth and life of the great composer in Roncole and Busseto to get to Giuseppe Verdi’s National Museum whose depth tour will retrace his entire artistic career. Subsequently, the focus will shift to the mysterious and unique labyrinth of Franco Maria Ricci, to cross and get lost in the labyrinth of bamboo plants and admire the beautiful art collections kept inside. The program also includes a visit to the medieval village of Fontanellato and its Rocca Sanvitale without forgetting to discover and be enchanted by the food and wine of these unique lands.

First day

Arrival in Verdi’s Homelands and visit Giuseppe Verdi’s birthplace in Roncole with the small church of San Michele. Transfer to the producer of Culatello, cold cut loved by Giuseppe Verdi, to understand the secrets of production and have a little tasting. Transfer to Busseto and visit Teatro Verdi and Museo Casa Barezzi. Lunch in Busseto in a restaurant with a typical Verdi’s atmosphere. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of Giuseppe Verdi National Museum, followed by a visit to Villa Sant'Agata, last residence of the ‘Grande Maestro’. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Second day

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to a cheese factory of Parmigiano Reggiano to watch the stages of processing and aging. Transfer to the charming little village of Fontanellato. Visit the extraordinary labyrinth of Franco Maria Ricci. Free lunch. Then view of Rocca Sanvitale, charming castle surrounded by a beautiful moat that contains works of extraordinary beauty.
