FESTIVAL VERDI 2021 – Scintille d’opera - Parma and Busseto, 24 September - 17 October 2021

We are very thrilled to announce the Festival Verdi 2021! From the 24th September to the 17th October 2021, “Un ballo in maschera”, “Simon Boccanegra” in concert form, the “Requiem”, gala concerts and recitals staging world famous artists and other events will make up the programme of the Festival Verdi XXI Edition.

In detail, “Roberto Abbado conducts Un ballo in maschera in the new setup by Jacopo Spirei from the project of Graham Vick; Michele Mariotti conducts Simon Boccanegra in its concert form; Daniele Gatti conducts Messa da Requiem. Eleonora Buratto sings the Gala Verdiano, Lisette Oropesa in a chamber arias recital.

Elio, Francesco Micheli, Enrico Melozzi protagonists of the two AroundVerdi events. The Caravan verdiano brings La traviata to the public in the squares of Busseto, Montechiarugolo, Parma, Baganzola. Verdi Off inaugurates its VI edition of free events with four projects promoting inclusion, participation, multi-disciplinarian features.” (extract Press Release Teatro Regio di Parma).
