The "Winter Jamboree Festival," dedicated to the extraordinary music and culture of the fabulous 1940s and 1950s, makes its grand debut in Parma with the first Christmas edition. The prestigious "Summer Jamboree Festival," which is held every summer in Senigallia, passes the winter baton to the city of Parma.

Here are the dates: from 7 to 10 December 2023, the Fiere di Parma spaces will be transformed into a true journey through time thanks to the "Winter Jamboree," an international event that will bring back the magic of the 1940s and 1950s, filling Parma with music, culture, dancing and fun.

Live concerts will take place at Pala Verdi, with the participation of artists from around the world, DJ sets and extraordinary dance performances.  In addition, if you wish to learn the art of Rock'n'Roll, an international Dance Camp will be at your disposal.

Many food trucks will be ready to delight food enthusiasts with the local delicacies of Parmesan cuisine.

But the surprises don't stop here! In collaboration with the Magnum Photos agency, at the charming Governor’s Palace in the heart of the city centre, you can enjoy the photographic exhibition "The 1950s - American stories.” This exhibition will present an exclusive selection of images from the 1950s that tell the authentic story of America at that time. It will be a visual story of America, with its challenges and its extraordinary resilience.
