In addition to a significant art heritage, the Bardi Castle, in the Parma Apennines and the Rocca Meli Lupi Fortress in Soragna, in Parma Low Land, safeguard the stories of the Knight Moroello and Lady Cenerina whose ghosts meander inside the walls and around the hallways of the manors, it is said. The tour also includes the visit to the Compiano Castle and to the Rocca dei Rossi Fortress in San Secondo Parmense. Arrival at Borgotaro in the Parma Apennines. Visit the town and shop for typical products including the famous porcini mushrooms. Transfer to Albareto and lunch in a typical trattoria. In the afternoon visit the Castle of Compiano. Visit the ancient town and Castle of Bardi. The castle imposing and majestic, dominates the valley and holds within its walls so many stories, like that of the Knight, Moroello, whose unquiet ghostly spirit still today haunts the fortress. Walk in the town. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Breakfast. Visit a plant for the production of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Visit the Castle of the Meli Lupi of Soragna, a sumptuous princely residence cited as a unique example of the first baroque style. Tales are told of the ghostly presence of Donna Cenerina [...]. Transfer to San Secondo Parmense for a visit to the Rocca dei Rossi with its wealth of frescoes and interesting tales. Departure.
